EMPIRE CANOE CLUB

Empire Canoe Club has been an affiliated ACA club since 1990.It was formed as a means of uniting ACA members of similar interest. Our membership is comprised of disabled and active police officers and professional firemen as well as long-time ACA members. Some of Empire Canoe Clubs highly esteemed members include an Olympic gold medallist in canoeing, several former sprint National champions and competitors, ACA National sailing champions and the current ACA Historian.

Several of our physically challenged members enjoy water sports by use of rowboats, some are still capable of canoeing and those unable to be on the water enjoy relaxing at the clubs’ cabin and dock which is located at the ACA Atlantic Division Camp on Lake Sebago Lake.
