which is organized exclusively for nonprofit public benefit, shall be to serve
purposes within the meaning of Section 50 1(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Code of 1986 (as amended), serving as a national forum for all paddlers,

sports as lifetime recreational activities through: HOW WE SERVE THESE PURPOSES BOARD OF DIRECTORS is responsible for overall management of the Division. We communicate with our members through CANOESPORT, our newsletter, through this Interim Web Site and the recently established http://www.aca-atlanticdivision.net. CAMP COMMITTEE members manage the camp in cooperation with the Palisade Interstate Park Commission. Members may enjoy the facility near Sloatsburg, NY for recreation or competition in canoeing, kayaking and canoe sailing. Qualified clubs and individuals may be assigned the use of cabins or tent platforms for up to four years. Club may renew for additional terms. The Camp Committee in cooperation with the various youth camps located in the Palisades Interstate Park sponsors a YOUTH REGATTA each year that attracts hundreds of campers to a day of fun and competition.
RENTAL CABINS committee
members manage four cabins that may be rented by our members on a short term
basis. CLUBS are the vehicle through which most ACA programs are delivered to our membership. Our clubs are independently affiliated with the national ACA organization. Some serve a variety of paddling interests while others specialize. Activity COMMITTEES combine representatives from different parts of the Division who focus in furthering specific areas of paddlesport. These paddlers often combine their resources to further the promotion of a particular discipline within the division. Our bylaws, charter, minutes and reports to the Board of Directors are in the Archives. Links to other sites of interest to paddlers.
