Minutes of the 2004 Annual Meeting ACA Atlantic Division Sunday, September 19, 2004 Note: These minutes were provided for publication, but can not be ratified until the 2005 Annual Meeting. Nominating Committee:
John Knudson presented a list of nominees for the 2005 – 2006 tenure, as follows:
Chairman: Scott Greifenberger Vice Chair: Ray Schneider Treasurer: Don Sweeney Secretary: Donna O’Connor Competition: Open Conservation: Tom O’Reilly Safety, Ed & Instr: Open Recreation: Dave Sherman Camping: John Knudson At-Large: 1) Lenore Knudsen 2) Sherri Winkworth
A discussion ensued about filling the two vacant slots. Finally, Scott Greifenberg was chosen for Competition Director and Mike Boxer for Safety, Education and Instruction Director. A motion was made by Mary Greifenberger, seconded by Georgina Pappas, to close the discussion on nominations. All were in favor. A second motion was then made by Mary Greifenberger, seconded by Georgina Pappas, to accept the slate of nominees presented, and if any vote by the new Board were a tie vote, then the Secretary would cast the deciding ballot. The motion was passed by a majority of the members present.
